The Founder's Story
As the founder of Distinct Derivative Coaching, Wilhelmenia Ravenell has maintained a personal and professional passion for making visions a reality. This has included a commitment for over 35 years, cultivating impactful experiences as a business and technology leader to develop teams and ensure pipeline delivery of enterprise solutions. Her most notable accomplishments occurred during her tenure at Eli Lilly and Company, while leading teams for innovative and award-winning business solutions in support of patient outcomes.

Wilhelmenia has spent several years mastering her self-development through training, industry certifications, professional coaching, and co-authoring a book for leadership enrichment, and she authored From Broken To Blessed ~ peace in your pocket ~ to support clients and others. It provides value to reflect the personal understanding of what it means to go from broken to blessed in daily living as well as during pivotal points in our lives.
She continues her unwavering commitment to ensure the appropriate engagement as a coach, for transformative and life-changing experiences with professionals, businesses, and various community programs. This is fueled through the use of her expertise, with grace and grit, to effectively partner and deliver sustainable outcomes.
In one of my IT positions, Wilhelmenia taught me how to navigate “the lay of the land” by anticipating stakeholder needs and their motivations. When she was no longer my direct supervisor, I had to rely on her teachings to ensure I understood how to navigate political norms while still producing effective results. I was successful in delivering service for my business partners while indirectly influencing the future state of operations and a successful product launch.
